Congratulations Bardish Chagger, the Liberal Candidate for Waterloo

Posted on January 29, 2015

The Waterloo Federal Liberal Association (WFLA) is pleased to announce that Bardish Chagger has been selected as the Liberal candidate for the riding of Waterloo in the next federal election. The nomination meeting took place on 22 February 2015.

Ms. Chagger joined the Liberal Party of Canada at age 14 and has served on many Party boards, including as WFLA President and as a founding member of the local Women’s Liberal Commission. In addition, she served as executive assistant to former Kitchener-Waterloo MP Andrew Telegdi.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Bachelor of Science program, Ms. Chagger believes that Canadians need and deserve evidence-based, not ideology-based decision-making.  As the Liberal candidate and MP, she will put inclusiveness and social justice at the heart of her work to build our community in Waterloo.
